If the cliche one-liner is the biggest culprit in dates never getting off the ground to start with, the next failing is not knowing what to say after the one-liner. Girls are looking for someone with some depth to them. You may have the most beautiful eyes in the world but if after you say hello all you can offer her is a chance to look into them you would have been better off staying at home and playing computer games. One of the key dating tips for guys is to have some things in mind to talk about and be ready to listen as well. You are not there to lecture but to share thoughts and ideas. Remember you want to get to know her as well.

If you happen to strike out, don’t worry – politely acknowledge it and simply move on. You do not need to burn bridges. Remember she just might be the one you need to provide the next introduction as you practice how to approach a girl.
